Life’s like that
As I walked along
The greeny grass
My feet were moist
With dew and dust
I walked some more
With the breeze galore
And felt the wind
Blowing, soft and low
As I walked some more
Feeling nice and warm
My heart so free
In the morning dawn
But the wind grew rough
And the light grew dim
Suddenly I felt
Fear in my limbs
All alone in the misty light
Walking on, in spite of the fright
I couldn’t wait here nor go back
With my reserve going very slack
I needed some help
But no one was there
To give me a hand
With love and care
The road I was treading
Had to end somewhere
For deep inside
I knew the Lord was there
So, I walked and prayed
For this journey to end
And at last it seemed
I would surely get there
For the wind died down
And my heart gave a leap
I knew the road did end
But after a turn and a twist
Now I can go along
Any kind of road
My courage though dying
But my resolve not low
With the help of my Lord
I’ll surely pass the test
Maybe help someone
On the road that we tread
